Visit Eva Orebić presents private accommodation in Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula. The goal was for a guest to get a clear picture of the property and its surroundings within seconds, and to find the booking contact without hunting for it.
The challenge
Tourism content is almost entirely visual, large photo galleries are essential, yet they are also the heaviest load on page speed. On top of that, much of the traffic arrives from mobile devices and from abroad, often on slower networks where every unnecessary second is felt directly.
Approach
Photographs were processed and served at optimised sizes, with galleries below the fold loaded lazily. The page structure walks the visitor through linearly: the accommodation, its amenities, the surroundings, then contact. WordPress was configured so the owner can refresh photos and seasonal information without technical knowledge.
